Dr. Jason C.W. Griffith, O.D.
Dr. Griffith was born and raised in Rochester, NY and completed a double major in Biology and History at SUNY Oswego in 1994. After working several years in pharmaceutical research both in Rochester and Cincinnati he decided to follow his parents into the eye care field by pursuing his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. While graduating in 2001 he received clinical honors in both his cornea/refractive and contact lens rotations then moved to California with his beautiful bride local Thousand Oaks Optometrist Dr. Stacy Hamlet. A successful soft contact lens wearer for 20+ years Dr. Griffith decided to have Z-Lasik in 2009 performed by Paul Dougherty, MD and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Whether hiking, biking or running he enjoys the trails of the Conejo Valley and has run 93 marathons / Ultramarathons and one Full Iron Man with a marathon PR of 2:58 and 9 Boston Finishes. However despite this obsession for running and passion for optometry, his real priority is spending quality time with family.
